CHI in NYC and THE MACHOGLIDE FOR SALE -
04/19/06 |
 |
Hello everyone,
Yes it has been a while hasn't it? I have been a busy BEE these past few months writing my next scripts. "Chi" has been submitted to TEN top festivals across the country. I have been very selective on this one, I have done my HW.
I wrapped up the 5th Draft to my dark thriller feature "Shinel" that I have been telling you about. And I wrote another Horror feature called "Seven to Hell." "Shinel" clocks in at about 114 pages and "Seven to Hell" came in about 90pgs. Both films I will be shopping to private investors in the coming months.

See the trailer CLICK HERE 8mb.
Here is the PDF version of the "CHI" Press Kit complete with production pictures. Click Here
"CHI" will be screening at SUGAR May 2nd, one of my favorite places in NYC. Sugar is located at 311 Church St. in downtown Manhattan. Take the West Side Highway down to Canal St. it's off of there, doors open at 7pm. Hope to see you.
EVERYBODY HAS BEEN ASKING! WHAT IS THIS MACHOGLIDE??

The MachoGlide is a Steadicam of my own design! I build this SUCKER for Filmmakers and Videographers. Up until now I have been selling it successfully only on eBay, and selling it WORLDWIDE!! BUT NOW IT'S ON VTVIDEOS!! So you don't have to go to eBay anymore. I have only been getting great comments about the rig. It is the perfect low cost practical solution for your filmmaking needs. So ALL you filmmakers out there, here is the link to buy it, Click Here
Check it out, and make your footage look like Hollywood!
In the next month or so, keep an ear out. I will be developing a MP3 audio program for beginning filmmakers "How to make your 1st Short Film. A twelve step program" The program can be downloadable to your MP3 players or computers. It will be a good quickstart guide to get your feet off the ground and have you dive into filmmaking right away. I will also be holding a film mentoring workshop this summer as well for starters. I will keep you posted on the latest.
That's it guys!!
Peace! |

I think it is the best fight film I have ever done and the most BRUTAL! Who doesn't want to see two HOT chics beating the crap out of each other? HA! Sorry Daniele, sorry Christine. Take a look at the poster below.

Here is the PDF version of the "CHI" Press Kit complete with production pictures. Click Here
I also would like to tell you that my venture to be an entrepreneur is coming into light. I have invented and redesigned the GlideCam/Steadycam if you will. It's more comfortable and lightweight and I have sold every one of them on EBAY! I can't build em fast enough for the orders I get. So any of you indie filmmakers out there that want an inexpensive steadycam, I got it and it ROCKS. Oh! And another thing, it's getting Patented! Hell yeah! Check out the link below to my Ebay Page and the logo to the "Macho SteadyGlide Jr. & Extreme. I have two versions of course.

Click Here to see my store and to Buy the MachoGlide.
More films are on the way. "Shinel" is my goal for 06' along with 6 others of course. "Breaking all Records" is on the way next along with "Voices 3," "Toby's Adventures," "A Family Affair the feature," "The Interview," "Park Road," "For the Birds," to name a few. All are in different stages of development. But I guess I got my work cut out for me, eh?
I'm out,

Voices Within Places Top TEN -

Voices Within Places Top TEN at the www.thedirectorscut.org

Hey guys,
I know it's been a few days since I last updated you on The Directors Cut Film Festival. Many people have been asking what the outcome was. Well I am here to say that THE FEST ROCKS! It was one of the best festivals I have ever been to. The audience was superb, the place was packed!! News media floated around along with the celeb guest judges. I was actually interviewed once again, I will get that clip up as soon as it comes available to me. It felt great to be a part of this fest, I highly encourage and recommend all short filmmakers to submit their films. When you are there you are really treated with the most respect. There was also great mingling and networking.
The film selection was great as well. We've all been to wacky fests that showed films that have made no sense or just made you want to walk out. (well at least I have) At this fest, all short films shown had clever, artistic, wonderful concepts. All were very diverse focusing on various themes. The applause for all the films was fantastic. Simply put they had GREAT STORIES, and that's what counts, the audience was happy to be there, they connected with all the work shown. Plus the great thing is, this fest runs every month, not once a year.

"VOICES WITHIN" my lil horror flick placed in the top ten. The celeb judges voted on the winner. The winner one an Avid edit suite and $2,000. I did not win 1st prize, but, with your help (if you like) you can vote for "Voices Within" on www.thedirectorscut.org web site, where all the films are now showcased from that night. NOW THIS TIME THE VIEWERS VOTE FOR THE BEST FILM!! VOTE FOR ME GUYS!! (no pressure of course) :o)
When you head to the site www.thedirectorscut.org make sure you enter the flash site, that's where you will see the films.
Have a great weekend guys, thanks again for your support. |
